On a related note, recently, while talking to media, Big B revealed that he is really happy about his recently written letter as it got such a strong reaction from his daughter Shweta and granddaughter Navya Naveli.
Big B's Emotional Letter
"It worked as a good promotional device, but you know, promotional activity is a wide term. The letter was emotional. It addressed all daughters and granddaughters and I had such an immediate reaction from my own daughter and granddaughter."
Navya's Reaction
"I got an immediate reaction from Navya and she said, ‘Nanu, I will exactly follow this'. My daughter said, ‘I have been trying to teach Navya for so many years and just through one letter, you have conveyed what I wanted to for so many years'. That had an immediate impact."
Why Navya's Grandfather Wrote The Letter
Big B revealed that the open letter was Pink co-producer Shoojit Sircar's idea. "Shoojit said then why don't we take the essence of the film and put it in the form of a letter and why don't you write it to your granddaughter. It will be a nice gesture and it will be something that we will be able to convey to the audience without revealing the story. So what you saw in the letter, was the essence of Pink."
