Priyanka Chopra's Emotional Message On Her Grandmother!

Priyanka Chopra, lost her grandmother Madhu Jyotsna Akhouri, at the age of 94. The actress, loved her grandmother the most & PeeCee, shared a picture on her Twitter account smiling with her grandmother and captioned it as,

"I will always remember you with that big smile on your face and the shine in your eyes.. Rest in Peace Nani . We love you."

The mortal remains of Madhu Jyotsna Akhouri, has been laid to rest at the cemetery of a church in Kottayam, Kerala. Akhouri, was a freedom fighter, social activist and a former MLA. She had expressed her wish to be laid to rest at her birth place, Kerala, and the family has rightfully done so.

Priyanka Chopra's grandmother was born as Mary in Kavalappara family at Kumarakom, and later went to Bihar as a nurse and later married Dr Akhouri. A number of relatives flew down to Kerala for the last rites of Madhu Jyotsna Akhouri and consoled the grieving family.
