Ranveer Singh is playing it safe by not revealing any information about his upcoming films and is dodging questions when asked by reporters about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati and Zoya Akhtar's next.
When asked about his role in SLB's Padmavati, Ranveer Singh quipped, "Right now I am not in a position to comment on my upcoming films. But as soon as there is some relevant information regarding my upcoming slate of films, I will announce it."
Ranveer Singh is in no mood to answer questions on his upcoming films and has chosen to remain tight lipped until his role is confirmed.
Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor are close buddies and the duo starred in the film Gunday. We wonder when we could see these two buddies on screen once again.
Ranveer Singh is the most whackiest Bollywood star and is capable of bringing the entire house down with his crazy and witty antics.
"Right now I am not in a position to comment on my upcoming films," says Ranveer Singh when questioned about SLB's Padmavati.
Will He or Won't He?
As of now it is reported that Ranveer Singh might star in SLB's Padmavati and Zoya Akhtar's next, but nothing is confirmed by the actor.
Rumours were also doing the rounds that Ranveer Singh had a fall out with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for roping in Shahid Kapoor in Padmavati, and also because Ranveer had demanded a script narration from SLB. The demands didn't go well with SLB and he had decided not to cast the actor in his next.
However, Ranveer laughed off these rumours and made things light by saying, "I think Sanjay sir has a beauty smile. I will gift him a pack of this toothpaste when I meet him next."
SLB's Padmavati is a period drama that is based on the life and times of Sultan Alauddin Khilji and his obsession for Rani Padmavati. Deepika Padukone is reported to essay the lead role and we'll have to wait and see the fate of Ranveer Singh in the movie.
