The
Untold
Story,
gear
up
for
yet
another
film
on
cricket.
A
couple
of
days
back,
there
was
a
buzz
about
Phantom
Productions
doing
a
film
on
India's
glorious
victory
at
the
1983
World
Cup
with
Kabir
Khan
helming
the
film.
A
Mumbai
Mirror
report
had
quoted
a
source
saying,
"It
goes
on
the
floors
later
this
year,
as
soon
as
Kabir
wraps
up
the
in-progress
Tubelight
with
Salman
Khan.
A-list
actors
who
play
the
cricketing
heroes
are
in
the
process
of
being
finalised.
Kapil
Dev,
Madan
Lal,
Mohinder
Amarnath,
Kirti
Azad,
Krishmachari
Srikkanth,
Syed
Kirmani,
Yashpal
Sharma,
Balwinder
Sandhu
and
even
Sunil
Gavaskar
who
had
to
skip
the
earlier
meet
because
it
was
his
67th
birthday,
will
be
on
board
as
mentors
to
the
actors."
Now,
the
latest
development
that
we
hear
is
that
the
makers
have
approached
Ranveer
Singh
for
this
film.
A
source
added,
"Ranveer
has
been
approached
for
Kabir's
cricket
film
and
if
all
goes
well
after
completing
Sanjay
Leela
Bhansali's
Padmavati
the
actor
might
start
working
on
this
project."
If
reports
are
to
be
believed
then
the
makers
had
earlier
approached
Arjun
Kapoor
for
this
movie
but
things
didn't
work
out.
Currently
Kabir
is
busy
working
on
Salman
Khan
starrer
Tubelight
whereas
Ranveer
has
started
filming
for
Sanjay
Leela
Bhansali's
Padmavati.
