Ranveer Singh Reacts To Deepika Padukone's 11 Crores Fee For Padmavati!
Ranveer Singh opens up about Deepika Padukone's 11 Crores fee to star in SLB's Padmavati.
Deepika Padukone has successfully managed to break the norms of actors vs actresses' pay and for the first time Deepika has raced ahead of her male counterparts and is being paid a whopping 11 Crores to star in Padmavati. A leading daily asked Ranveer Singh about Dip's pay hike and the actor revealed,
"Let me put it this way. If I am the leading man of the film and the film-maker is asking me to support him in a certain aspect so as not to burden the budget of the film, I will do whatever I can to support the vision."
It was also reported that Shahid Kapoor had demanded a pay hike to star in Padmavati and film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave in to his demands as he wanted the film to be star studded and create no further delays to start the shoot of the film.
The 11 Crores fees to star in Padmavati made Deepika Padukone enter the Forbes list of highest paid actresses around the world. Priyanka Chopra too made it to the Forbes list as one of the highest paid television actresses as well.
