Revealed! Akshay Kumar's Role In Next Titled, Rustom

Akshay Kumar, is seen doing patriotic movies recently, and now we can add Rustom to the patriotic list as well. Yes, Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom, is slated to be released during Independence Day, in 2016.

It is confirmed that Akshay Kumar, would play the role of a Navy Officer in the upcoming film, Rustom. Though not much is revealed about the movies plot, it is reported that Rustom, is set in the 1950's era.

Akshay Kumar, during the promotions Airlift, spilled the beans about Rustom by saying,

"I'm playing a navy officer in Rustom. That's it."

Regarding the plot of Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom. A source close to the movie was quoted as saying,

"The film is set in the late 1950s and is a pure work of fiction. 'Rustom' is inspired from certain real life incidents that happened in the past and will be shot in India as well as in Britain."
