Revealed! Kareena Kapoor's Role In Udta Punjab

Kareena Kapoor, who is famous for her glamorous characters in most of her movies, is all set to play the role of a simple doctor in her upcoming flick, Udta Punjab.

Yes, Kareena Kapoor would play the role of a doctor in Udta Punjab, and says her role is that of a good samaritan who always helps people.

Kareena Kapoor was quoted as saying,

"I play a doctor in the film. It's (the role) very simple and nice, good Samaritan kind of a thing. But the whole atmosphere of the film is so nice and dark that the role is very different."

Udta Punjab, also stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles, and the storyline revolves around drug abuse in the Punjab province. The movie is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and is scheduled to be released mid-2016.
