Aiming For The Top Slot! Saiyami Kher Wants To Make Her Own Mark In Bollywood

Saiyami Kher debuted in Bollywood with the movie Mirzya and was paired alongside debutant Harshvardhan Kapoor. The film fared averagely at the box office and so did their acting skills, but this has not disappointed Saiyami and she's all guns blazing and wants to make her own mark in the industry.

The lovely Saiyami is the niece of actors Tanvi Azmi and Shabana Azmi and they have given quite a lot of tips and insights to the actress on how to achieve her goals. "They (Tanvi and Shabana) are powerhouse performers but I would like to create a path of my own. My personality is different from both my aunts and I hope people see the effort I put into my work in the coming times," says Saiyami.

She further commented, "She (Shabana) constantly tells me to talk in Hindi and complains that our generation does not talk in Hindi. Before we started the promotions of Mirya, she advised me that if you had fun in the film, then you get to tell new things to people and media and it is always a great experience. This is what happened, I gave my heart to my film and now it has become a beautiful memory."

When asked what is the toughest thing about being an actress, she says, "The problem is that you are rehearsing in comfortable conditions, your performance is 100 per cent but when you have to do your scenes in a place like Ladakh or in rain, snow and storm, things become tough."
