Shahid Kapoor Does Not Want To Be Hyper & Over Protective With Misha

Shahid Kapoor recently said that his father and actor Pankaj Kapur is a bit hyper and over-protective and he does not want to be like this with his daughter Misha.

Shahid Kapoor talked about his father and daughter in the episode of Vogue BFFs, "I think my dad is a great guy! There are things about him that I think are amazing, there are things about him that I don't want to be like that with my child. He is an extremely nice person and he has always been a friend to me, those are the things that I would want. But he's a bit hyper and he's a bit over-protective. So, those are the two things that I hope I don't do to my child."

When asked about a piece of advice that his father had given him when he found out that he was going to become a father, Shahid Kapoor said, "Actually more than a piece of advice: what my dad told me was that 'Now, you will know all the complaints that I have always had against you'."

The actor added, "Because the one thing my dad keeps telling me is that I don't call him enough. And I pretty much call him almost every day! But he still always complains about the fact that 'we don't connect enough, we don't spend time enough' and finally when obviously Misha happened, he told me, 'Now you will know what it's like when you miss your child'."
