    Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming magnum opus Padmavati is definitely one of the most awaited films of 2017. And why not? We will get to see the trio of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor sharing screen space for the first time in this movie.

    Padmavati has Shahid Kapoor playing the role of 'Padmavati' Deepika Padukone's husband, Raja Ratan Singh. The actor recently wrapped the shooting for the first schedule of the film.

    He took to his Instagram page and wrote, "Night shoots and morning wraps. #padmavati first sched wraps today. Loving it." Not just that, he even posted a super 'hot' selfie that we are totally drooling over...

    The film has Ranveer Singh Ranveer Singh essaying the role of Sultan Alauddin Khilji. It would be quite interesting to see him in this grey character.
    Bhansali's film revolves around Alauddin Khilji and his obsessive love for Queen Padmavati of Mewar.

    Said to be his most ambitious project, the movie will be about the queen's courage to fight her undefeated nemesis.

    Padmavati is slated to release on 17th November, 2017.
