It seems that Shahrukh Khan wants to focus on performance-oriented roles now. His latest film Fan could not cross 100 Crores at the Indian box office but the actor was praised a lot for his powerful acting in the movie.

Rumour has it that, Aditya Chopra is one of the reasons why Fan failed at the box office. According to Bollywood Life, Aditya Chopra wanted the second half to be different from the first half. He wanted a completely different story to be shown and so the chase sequences and prolonged action scenes were later added in the movie.

It is also said that Shahrukh Khan was not really happy with these suggestions and even asked Aditya Chopra to shorten the length of movie, especially the second half, but he didn't listen.
