Yes
you
read
it
right!
Shahrukh
Khan
has
taken
the
responsibility
of
Dilwale's
poor
box
office
collection
and
has
returned
50
percent
of
the
money
to
the
movie's
distributers.
Famous
trade
analyst
Komal
Nahata
confirmed
the
news
and
wrote
on
microblogging
site
Twitter,
''@iamsrk
does
what
few
wud
do.
Refunds
50%
of
the
loss
of
distributors
of
his
Dilwale.
That's
what
u
call
a
considerate
producer!''
Earlier
there
was
a
news
that
even
Deepika
Padukone
and
Ranbir
Kapoor
returned
15
Crores
to
the
producers
of
Tamasha
beacuse
the
film
did
not
perform
well
at
the
Indian
box
office.
Now
Shahrukh
Khan
too,
has
returned
50
percent
of
the
money
to
the
distributers
for
Dilwale.
Trade
analyst
Kumar
Mohan
also
confirmed
the
news
and
told
First
Post,
"I
appreciate
whatever
Shahrukh
has
done.
If
the
film
doesn't
do
well,
why
always
the
distributor
should
face
losses.''
''It's
a
big
step
from
Shahrukh's
side
and
I
believe
this
will
turn
into
a
practise.
I
am
not
saying
it
will
become
a
trend
but
this
should
come
into
practice," he
said.
Shahrukh
Khan
also
confessed
in
one
of
his
interviews,
"I
don't
think
the
film
has
done
as
well
as
it
should
have.
I
am
personally
disappointed
with
that.''
The
actor
further
added,
"To
be
honest,
it
has
perhaps
not
done
as
well
in
India
as
I
would
like
it
to
do.
But
overseas
it
has
done
very
well
in
a
lot
of
countries
like
Germany,
Austria.
It
is
quite
thrilling
that
Indian
films
are
reaching
far
and
wide.
There
is
a
lot
of
business
opportunities.''
