Shraddha Kapoor: I Was Mentally Bruised While Shooting For Rock On 2!

The Rock On 2 actress, Shraddha Kapoor would be joining the rock band 'Magik' in an upcoming musicial and said that her role in the movie was very challenging and she was mentally bruised while playing the character of Jiah Sharma.

"My character's name is Jiah Sharma and she's a musician. She plays the keyboard and she sings. Jiah is a moody vagabond. I got mentally bruised while playing this role. It was a tough journey because it's an intense film and an intense character. There were days when I just wanted to sit and weep because I was thinking about my character. There is something that had happened in her life which I kept thinking about as I found it disturbing," revealed Shraddha to Bollywoodlife.

Shraddha Kapoor's previous release Baaghi was declared a hit and the question on everyone's mind is 'will Rock On 2 be a hit as well'? Now that Shraddha is at the peak of her career, she revealed that she doesn't take success for granted and learnt a lot from Priyanka Chopra's 'success mantra'.

"Once Priyanka Chopra told me: 'You should wear your success like a T-shirt and you should always remember that.' That advice stuck with me as I really admire her a lot. She works hard and has a fabulous body of work. The only people who know my efforts are the people I have worked with or am working with," said Shraddha Kapoor.

Rock On 2 starring Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai and Shraddha Kapoor is all set to hit the theatres on November 11, 2016.
