Ouch! Sonakshi Sinha Got Injured While Shooting For An Action Scene In 'Akira'

The junior 'shotgun' of B-town, Sonakshi Sinha, who is geared up to stun the audience with her action-packed avtar for the upcoming film, Akira, got injured while shooting an action scene for the movie.

Sonakshi shared a throwback photograph of herself, where she is seen with a bruised arm. "Battlescars are meant to be worn with pride! A memento from when I was shooting an action scene for 'Akira'! (Throwback)," Sonakshi tweeted.

We gotta say that the actress has left no stones unturned to make her action sequences look authentic. We are really looking forward to witness Sonakshi Sinha in a never seen before avatar.

The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, who had previously directed Sonakshi in the film Holiday, which was a success at the box office.

Akira sees Sonakshi's character coming to Mumbai from Jodhpur, where she gets into a tiff with the goons of a college, in which she enrolls.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on September 2, 2016.
