Aishwarya Rai Out! Kalyan Jewellers Replace Her With Sonam Kapoor As Brand Ambassador

Well, this one must have hurt our beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan! The actress has been associated with Kalyan Jewellers for close to three years now and has really helped the brand become more popular.

The actress used to represent this brand along with her in-laws, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan whose advertisements are all over the television channels now!

Kalyan Jewellers released an official statement, announcing that not Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but Sonam Kapoor will be their new brand ambassador.

Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director, Marketing and Operations, said in a statement, "We would like to thank Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for augmenting the product propositions of brand Kalyan over the last 3 years and helping Kalyan establish itself as a leading national brand."

"We welcome Sonam Kapoor and are confident that her status as a style icon and popularity will strengthen future product campaigns of Kalyan Jewellers."

Sonam Kapoor is also the brand ambassador of L'Oreal which Aishwarya Rai has been representing for years. Due to some clash the two actresses are never found promoting the brand on one platform. The times they represented the brand during Cannes Film Festival was also on different days.

Katrina also joined them as brand ambassador but she and Sonam have been cordial with each other and were seen promoting the brand together.

Even when the advertisements are being shot, it is done on different days and using VFX it is shown as one. So when Aishwarya would have gotten to know that it is Sonam who has replaced her, it will be quite a huge blow.

But Sonam Kapoor must be on cloud nine for post Neerja movie's success, all good things are happening to her and his brand endorsement deal just added another feather to her cap.
