Hollywood Legend Sylvester Stallone Appreciates Salman Khan's Sultan!

The director of Sultan, Ali Abbas Zafar said he once narrated the idea of Sultan to Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone and the legend was bowled over by it. Ali revealed he had a brief interaction with the Rocky star in Los Angeles, where the actor said a story like Sultan can also be made for the American audiences as well.

"I met Stallone, while doing research and getting my martial arts team from LA. I met him for a brief interaction and he kind of heard the story. He said 'Wow, what a story. This could be a story which can easily be done in America.' Because it's about an underdog who has lost everything and is trying to get his self esteem back." Ali told PTI.

Ali Abbas Zafar said that he feels a lot of pressure to deliver back-to-back hits and that pressure makes him work hard to achieve it. "It feels special but it also unnerves you because more people know you now, they recognise your work. Next time you make something, they will be looking out for you. But it's a good feeling."

Salman Khan starrer Sultan released in July in India and went on to become a blockbuster. The film received rave reviews and minted huge money at the box office. Salman is currently shooting for his upcoming flick Tubelight in Ladakh and fans are eagerly waiting for it.
