SHAMEFUL! A Fan Misbehaved With Vidya Balan Again; This Time In A Temple
Vidya Balan recently spoke about an incident where a man crossed all levels of decency when she was praying at a temple.
It's normal for anyone to be starstruck when he/ she comes across his favourite celebrity. But things turns an ugly turn when the fan crosses all the limits of decency and conducts a shameful act.
After the unfortunate incident at Kolkata airport, Begum Jaan actress Vidya Balan reveals yet another disgusting situation. What comes as a shocker is the fact that it happened in temple, a place which is supposed to be sacred!
Recently, while speaking to Spotboye, Vidya Balan narrated the incident at length and revealed how she reacted to it-
The Man Touched Vidya's Shoulder When She Was Praying
Vidya was at the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. She was praying when a man touched her on her shoulder. She opened her eyes and found that it was a random guy.
He Kept Pestering Vidya To Say A Hello To His Wife
He told her, 'Madam, please say hello to my wife'. Vidya asked him to hold on for a minute and went back to praying. He again tapped her shoulder and said: 'Say hello to her before that'!"
This Is How Vidya Hit Back At Him
Narrating how she lashed back at him, Vidya said, "I told him that he cannot touch me. I asked him if he'd be okay with being touched by strangers, and if he will mind if his wife was touched by a stranger like this. People seem to believe that public figures are fine with such behaviour. I am more than happy to sign autographs and pose for selfies. Very rarely do I say no, unless I have not slept in five days or something. But there are some lines."
We Are Public Figures, Not Public Properties
Vidya had made a valid point during the Kolkata incident when she said, "When a stranger puts an arm around you, be it a man or a woman you get uncomfortable because they are intruding into your personal space. We are public figures, not public property."
Well, we believe that one should strongly condemn such act of indecency and face the situation just as bravely as Vidya did.
Meanwhile talking about films, Vidya's upcoming release is Begum Jaan followed which she will immediately start shooting for Tumhari Sulu where she plays a late night RJ.
