HEARD THIS? Akshay Kumar Joins Hands With Karan Johar And Salman Khan For Battle Of Sargarhi?

Last night, the news of Karan Johar and Salman Khan co-producing a film starring Akshay Kumar broke the internet. And why not? It's three of the biggest names from the Bollywood bandwagon joining hands for a film and we believe that a blockbuster is already in the pipeline.

The excitement hasn't sinked yet and we bring you some fresh scoop on this new film. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, this movie which will be directed by Anurag Singh revolves around the Battle Of Sargarhi. Oh wait, doesn't that name ring a bell?

For those who couldn't guess it right, two films have already been announced on this theme- Rajkumar Santoshi's Sargarhi starring Randeep Hooda and Ajay Devgn's Sons of Sardaar. Both films were slated to release this year but there has been no update on their progress.

On the other hand, it is said that Salman is quite keen on exploring this subject since he loves all the grandeur and the subject of epic, historic films.

Akshay's golden spell at the box office coupled with two of the biggest banners from Bollywood, already seems to make this a promising treat! Meanwhile, the khiladi actor already has a string of films coming up next which includes Jolly LLB 2, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, 2.0 and Padman.
