Akshay Kumar's Jolly LLB 2 To Release In Pakistan, But With Too Many Cuts!
Jolly LLB 2 starring Akshay Kumar & Huma Qureshi is all set to be released in Pakistan but with too many cuts. The film-makers have agreed to the cuts for a smooth release across the border.
It's
good
news
for
Jolly
LLB
2
as
Akshay
Kumar's
upcoming
film
is
all
set
to
release
in
Pakistan.
However,
there's
a
catch
to
it!
The
Pakistani
authorities
have
ordered
massive
cuts
on
the
film
as
it
is
reported
that
the
movie
shows
Muslims
in
Kashmir
in
a
poor
light.
According
to
the
Punjab
Censor
Board,
as
reported
by
Express
Tribune,
the
local
theatre
owners
in
Pakistan
have
requested
the
film-makers
to
delete
the
offensive
scenes
which
might
offend
the
Pakistani
viewers.
The
producer
of
Jolly
LLB
2
has
granted
them
their
wishes
and
will
remove
the
scenes
for
a
smooth
release.
Express
Tribune
had
quoted
an
official
of
the
Punjab
Censor
Board
commenting
on
the
Kashmir
issue
on
Jolly
LLB
2
by
saying,
"For
this
reason,
we
are
avoiding
giving
the
film
a
censor
clearance
certificate.
It
could
be
banned
from
release
in
Punjab
but
we
are
still
deciding
its
fate.
The
film
has
been
approved
for
public
screening
after
recommending
several
excisions.
Now
it
is
upto
the
distributors,
whether
they
want
to
release
it
or
not.
It
has
been
cleared
by
the
censor
board."
Also,
a
local
distributor
in
Pakistan
shared
his
concern
that
the
film
has
already
gone
through
so
many
cuts,
so
what
will
they
eventually
show
on
the
silver
screen?
But
it
seems
the
producers
of
Jolly
LLB
2
have
decided
to
go
ahead
with
the
cuts
so
the
film
will
have
a
smooth
release
there
without
any
hiccups.
Akshay
Kumar,
Huma
Qureshi
and
Annu
Kapoor
starrer
Jolly
LLB
2
is
all
set
to
hit
the
theatres
on
February
10,
2017.
