SHOCKING! Alia Bhatt Receives Death Threat From The Underworld

On February 26, Mahesh Bhatt received a call from an unidentified caller who claimed to be from the underworld and demanded a sum of Rs. 50 Lakhs to be deposited at the earliest. If he failed to do so, he threatened to shoot his daughter Alia Bhatt and his wife Soni Razdan. A terrified Mahesh Bhatt, first believed it to be a prank but then again started receiving text messages and whatsapp messages saying, "If you fail to do so, I will fire several rounds of bullets in your daughter Alia and wife Soni."

Not taking any chances, Mahesh Bhatt filed an FIR and recorded his statement with the Mumbai Police. The case has now been transferred to the Mumbai Police's Anti Extortion Cell (ANC) and the matter will be further investigated along with other Police departments. A police officer told India Today, "A case is registered under section 387 (causing a person to fear death or grievous hurt, in order to commit extortion.)" Also, the caller demanded Mahesh Bhatt to deposit the amount at a Lucknow-based bank branch.
