As sad as it might sound, Amy Jackson became the latest victim of cyber hacking as her phone was hacked by unidentified miscreants and they leaked two personal pictures online in which she is seen having dinner with her friend. The incident occured when Amy visited a mobile store in Mumbai where she had to catch a connecting flight to Chennai for the shoot of the Rajinikanth & Akshay Kumar starrer '2.0'. Apparently, her phone's automatic sync uploaded all the content to an iCloud and some miscreant hacked into her account and stole her personal pictures and other information. The Robo 2.0 actress, couldn't log into her account and this caused her to visit the service centre again, where she realised that her phone was indeed hacked.
Amy Jackson is shocked and irated at the breach of her privacy and has decided to file a complaint with the cyber-crime department back in London and also in Mumbai. "I was shocked when this happened. This isn't a trivial matter and has to be taken up seriously. I will register a complaint with the cyber crime cell in London and ensure the hackers are taken to task. Cyber safety is the need of the hour," said Amy to Mid Day.
Also, a source from Mid Day was quoted as saying, "However, it was on February 7 when two pictures with her best friend having dinner appeared online that she realised her phone was hacked. She went to the service centre again before coming to India."
Amy is not the first actress to face a cyber security breach, recently Kareena Kapoor's account was hacked by a miscreant for breaking into her I-T account. Thankfull, the hacker was identified and arrested and we hope the hacker of Amy Jackson's phone be brought to book at the earliest.
