Here's Comes The Bride In Spirit! Anushka, Suraj & Diljit's 'Phillauri' Trailer Is A Quirky Watch!

After a gritty ride in 'NH10', Anushka Sharma's next film 'Phillauri' under her home production promises a delightful tale with lots of love and giggles.

The makers have now released the first trailer of the film and going by the looks of it, we are looking forward to watch it in the cinema hall.

The video begins with Suraj Sharma (of Life of Pi fame) being declared maanglik, and therefore suggested to marry a tree (a common practice to ward of the evil). However, a ghost named Shashi stuck in the tree (Anushka Sharma) starts to haunt him, claiming he is now married to her. What follows next is fun and laughter until Suraj's would-be-wife (Mehreen Pirzada) asks her if she has any remaining desire. The story then goes in the flashback mode as we get to meet Shashi's lover (Diljit Dosanjh) aka Phillauri in the old world Punjab.

While Anushka looks ethreal as the friendly ghost, Diljit Dosanjh is making us skip a heartbeat. Suraj Sharma too puts up a promising act in the first sneak-peek.

The crazy rom-com is slated to hit the theatrical screens on 24th March, 2017.
