Anushka Sharma: I Have The Luxury Of Doing Lesser Films!

Anushka Sharma had a dream run in Bollywood and shared screenspace with Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan and almost all her films fared really well at the box office. The actress revealed that she's now at a stage in her life and career where she has the luxury of doing lesser films, but would still make an impact. She said,

"Right now, maybe I'm at a stage in my life and career where I have the luxury of doing lesser films. But earlier, everyone I met would advice me to do more films. I never really saw any sense in that because you can't be doing films for the sake of doing more work. For me, when I come out to the audience, it has to be something different, so they can remember me, it solidifies your career... Fortunately, I've stayed away from signing films too quickly or on a whim and today that has paid off."

Anushka revealed that the year 2016 was too hectic, and was shooting constantly for four movies simultaneously. "It's been really hectic. I was constantly shooting. Apart from Sultan and ADHM, I shot for my next production, Phillauri. And we are also almost through with most of the shoot for Imtiaz Ali's project (The Ring). So I feel quite consumed and feel I'm doing lots of work."

The actress will next be seen in the film 'Phillauri' and Imtiaz Ali's The Ring. The film is being shot in Europe and also stars Shahrukh Khan and Evelyn Sharma in the lead roles. Both the films are scheduled to hit the theatres in 2017.
