Ranbir Kapoor didn't attend IIFA awards this year since he was busy shooting for Rajkumar Hirani's Sanjay Dutt biopic in New York. Anushka, on the other hand, chose to give the starry event a miss. Instead, she was spotted spending some quality time with beau Virat Kohli before kickstarting the shoot for her portions in the film.

Anushka's Character Is The Only Fictional Character In Dutt Biopic
Talking about her role in the film, Anushka was earlier quoted as saying, ""I am doing a cameo in the film but you all should be very excited for it. It will be a very good film. I am not playing his girlfriend, or a journalist, my character is the only fictional character in the film. It is not based on any living person that much I can tell."
Director To Have A Cameo In The Film?
Rumours suggest that director Rajkumar Hirani himself would be playing an important role in the film. We hear that the filmmaker be essaying the role of Subhash Ghai for a scene where he will be approaching Ranbir's character of Dutt to make a film on his life someday and how they joke about the same. Sounds interesting naa?
Ranbir's Tribute To Dutt
Ranbir is in the Big Apple to shoot for that crucial part of Sanjay Dutt's life wherein the actor becomes a drug addict. As per a Filmfare report, the actor along with Vicky Kaushal who plays his bestie in the film would be shooting for a tribute song to Dutt.

The actress recently said that she is not interested in hosting or judging any Indian reality shows unlike few of her contemporaries. She was quoted as saying to a leading daily, "I have been offered a few reality shows, but I don't think I want to do any of it right now. This is not the zone I want to get into, currently."
She Is More Keen On Doing Web-Series
Anushka said, "I would love to back any web series if I genuinely believe in the content. There are so many stories to be told and now cinema is not the only medium. There are various other ways to reach out to people and web series is one of them."
