Arjun Kapoor's Important Co-star In Mubarakan Is Arjun Himself! Read Details

Mubarakan is going to be one helluva comedy film as for the first time we'll get to see Arjun Kapoor in a double role and his important co-star in the film is none other than Arjun himself. He revealed that he always wanted to do comedy and Mubarakan is one step higher in terms of comedy. He was quoted as saying,

"I was getting the opportunity to do a double role, which doesn't rely on mistaken identity. My most important character was going to be me. This was a challenge I wanted to undertake just to see how it all came together."

He further commented, "Comedy was a genre I was dying to do ever since I became an actor. Besides, we haven't seen that many comedies being made in the last five years. Having said that, I was also looking at humour that works pan India and that's where this film works for me as it's not aimed to appeal to only the urban audience."

Arjun further explained the comedy timings in Mubarakan and it really sounds interesting. "It's a sort of No Entry meeting My Big Fat Greek Wedding." Wow! Now that's pretty impressive. Mubarakan is all set to hit the theatres on July 28, 2017. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty in the lead roles.
