Arjun Rampal & Jackie Shroff To Join The BJP?

Celebrities joining politics in nothing new, as many Bollywood stars have contested in elections and have won their respective seats. The Rock On 2 star Arjun Rampal recently visited the BJP headquarters in New Delhi and people are now wondering what the actor is up to! Would he join politics? Or is he there to add a star power to the party?

When asked whether he's going to take a plunge into politics, Arjun Rampal revealed, "I have come here to extend my support to the party because I believe that the steps that the Modi government is taking like demonetization and Swacch Bharat are good."

When pressed further, Arjun Rampal confirmed that he will not join politics and would only lend his support to the party. "I am not a politician, not here for politics. I am here to see how I can extend my support for the BJP."

Arjun Rampal had an hour long meeting BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya and it is reported that the actor will be roped in only for campaigning purposes in the upcoming elections. Jackie Shroff is also likely to extend his support to the BJP and the party might use both the actors as a crowd puller.
