Bengaluru Molestation Case: Esha Gupta Takes A Stand, But Gets Shamed In Return!

As soon as the news about the Bangalore molestation case on the New Year's night of 2017 broke out, politicians handled the incident very badly by giving out inflammatory statements questioning women's dressing style and behaviour. Politician Abu Azmi was the first to add fuel to the fire by saying "If there is sugar, ants will come automatically to it." His comments were criticised by all sections of the society alike.

Now Abu Azmi's son Farhan Azmi (husband of Ayesha Takia) has joined the bandwagon and went a step further than his father by slut shaming Bollywood celebrities who took a stand against molestation. Esha Gupta slammed politician Abu Azmi on Twitter for his remarks as, "The only woman to blame here, n she probably would have blamed herself too, is the woman who unknowingly gave birth to a jerk like u#AbuAzmi."

Now, it would have been wise for Farhan Azmi to apologise on behalf of his father's irresponsible statements, but he chose to rather follow his dad's footsteps instead and replied to her tweet in a slut shaming manner, "Esha, woman who gave birth to @abuasimazmi is my grandma, who is no longer amongst us to defend herself. She was far more dignified than U."

To add more salt to injury, Farhan retweeted photos of Esha Gupta posing in a bikini and being backless while captioning it as, "@eshagupta2811 you just look at in the mirror and say what NANGAPAN you gave to our society through films @abufarhanazmi @abuasimazmi," and "@eshagupta2811 look at the pic of yours & say do u have any right to speak about @abuasimazmi @abufarhanazmi #SHAME."
