Wow! Bollywood Celebrities Praise Deepika Padukone's Hollywood Debut xXx

Bollywood celebrities like Ashutosh Gowariker, Irrfan Khan and Preity Zinta have praised actress Deepika Padukone for her "confident" debut in Hollywood with the action film xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

xXx: Return of Xander Cage, which also stars Vin Diesel and Donnie Yen among others, had a star-studded premiere on Thursday (12th Jan). Post that, various celebs took to Twitter to praise Deepika's performance in the film.

Those who don't know, the action-packed film xXx: Return of Xander Cage, which is Deepika Padukone's first international project, will release in India 'before anywhere else' in the world on January 14, 2017.

Deepika Padukone had confirmed the news herself by tweeting, ''Thrilled to announce that #XxX:TheReturnofXanderCage will release in India first!before anywhere else in the world! #14thJanuary #VinDiesel.''

In the movie, Deepika Padukone plays a character named Serena Unger. The film also features Hollywood actor Vin Diesel in the lead role. Directed by DJ Caruso, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is a sequel to the 2002 film xXx and 2005 film xXx: State of the Union.

Apart from Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel, xXx also stars Ruby Rose, Samuel L Jackson, Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa.
