Filmibeat carried an audience poll for the Best of Bollywood in 2016 and Shahid Kapoor has been voted as the Best Actor and Alia Bhatt has won in the Best Actress category t by a huge margin. The duo were voted for their performances in the award-winning film Udta Punjab.

The audiences have also voted for Aamir Khan's Dangal as the Best Bollywood film of 2016 and the film has outbeaten Salman Khan's Sultan and Shahrukh Khan's Fan by a very big leap. Dangal is the big winner hands down!
