Huma Qureshi Opens Up About 'Star Kids Vs Non Star Kids' In The Film Industry!

We all know that star kids are given special and first preference in the film industry and certain things come to them with ease. The non star kids, have to earn their spot and work their way up with little or no support. However, there are many talented non star kids who have made their mark in Bollywood and carved an identity for themselves.

Huma Qureshi, opened up about the star kids and non star kids issue by saying, "Some of the star-kids I've known personally are extremely passionate and hard-working. But that doesn't take away from the fact that favouritism and nepotism does exist in the industry."

When asked if she would be in a better position if she were a star kid, she quipped, "Yes. On the other hand, I may have also had to suffer a lot of the things that star-kids go through. For instance, they have to decide where their loyalties lie, which films to do, and how it will reflect on the family. There is so much pressure."

Huma, said that whatever the outcome to her movies are, she will always enjoy working in the film industry. "If I am not happy with what is being offered, I will just take a break. I don't need to do something to prove a point. I don't feel like I have to do three films a year or else people will forget me. I am not insecure. I am happy doing the work that comes my way, but it has to be interesting."
