National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut says she felt shattered when a few of her important scenes were edited by the makers of her forthcoming film Rangoon.
Read what the actress revealed during the promotions of Rangoon.
Those Scenes Were My Top-notch Performances
"Those scenes were my top-notch performances and I was shattered when I came to know about the edit. I thought without those scenes my performance would be regarded as satisfactory and it won't be appreciated that much. Despite that, people loved it. I am very happy."
Some Of My Scenes Were Very Important
"Some of my favourite scenes, which were important for the graph of my work were edited. I prepare my character's graph in a linear pattern so when I saw the film Vishal Ji explained why the editing was legitimate.''
On Getting Compliments From The Industry
On being asked about compliments from the industry, she said, "More than I expected. Many from industry have complimented and messaged me which is a very sweet gesture."
On Rumours About Her Character Loosely Based On Fearless Nadia
Earlier, it was revealed that Kangana's character in the film is loosely based on actress-stuntwoman Fearless Nadia. However, in an interview with IANS, Kangana said, "I think there is some legal hassle around that. First of all, we cannot comment on a matter when it's already in the court, but we can assure you that it (my character) is not based on any living or dead person."
The period romantic drama, directed by Vishal Bharadwaj stars Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, besides Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles.
