Festive
release
dates
are
always
a
hit
with
the
filmmakers
in
Bollywood
as
it
helps
in
getting
more
crowd
to
the
theatres
resulting
in
a
good
box
office
collection.
While
Shahrukh
Khan
has
had
several
of
his
films
hitting
the
silver
screens
on
Diwali,
the
Christmas
release
slot
belongs
to
Aamir
Khan.
However
filmmaker
Karan
Johar,
whose
upcoming
film
Badrinath
Ki
Dulhania
is
slated
to
release
on
Holi,
says
that
he
doesn't
want
to
release
any
of
his
films
on
Eid
as
the
festive
occasion
is
for
Bollywood
superstar
Salman
Khan.
At
the
trailer
launch
event
of
the
film,
KJo
said,
"No.
Eid
release
is
owned
by
Salman
Khan.
Of
course,
if
Salman
Khan
and
I
work
together
on
a
Dharma
Productions'
film,
then
yes
we
will
do
an
Eid
release,
otherwise
no.
We
are
here
not
just
to
release
a
movie,
but
it
should
be
in
a
manner
to
optimise
the
number.
So,
as
a
producer
and
studio
(that
we
are
partnered
with)
we
have
to
keep
certain
things
in
mind.."
Well,
we
couldn't
agree
more
to
this.
Talking
about
Badrinath
Ki
Dulhania,
at
the
trailer
lauch
event
Varun
Dhawan
said,
"Alia
will
make
a
great
bahu.
Don't
know
about
the
wife
but
she
is
very
good
with
mothers."
He
further
added
that
he
finally
has
a
festive
release
and
he
is
quite
happy
with
it.
