Madhavan To Star In Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Chanda Mama Door Ke'!

R Madhavan is all set to play the role of a pilot for the third time in Sushant Singh Rajput's upcoming space film 'Chanda Mama Door Ke' and the actor is pretty excited to be a part of the sci-fi film.

"I can't wait to see this film with my son. I'm sure he'll be proud of me. It's such an awesome story and a fantastic team... it's cutting-edge," said Madhavan.

Sushant Singh Rajput play the role of an astronaut and Madhavan would play the role of a pilot. Both the roles are prominent and will pack a punch in the film. Madhavan's role is pretty serious and when asked about the preparations, he said, "This role will definitely require much prepping as we are doing it with a lot of authenticity." When asked if he's taking flying lessons, he quipped, "Not really, we will be working on the simulators."

Madhavan has previously played the role of a pilot in Rang De Basanti and his personal experience in the defence field would make him feel comfortable for Chanda Mama Door Ke. "I myself have a defense background as I have trained for the NCC (National Cadet Corps). And, having done RDB and the serial Sea Hawks, I know the basics."
