Manoj
Bajpayee
is
one
of
the
finest
actors
that
we
have
in
Bollywood
today.
Time
and
again,
he
has
proved
his
versatility
with
power-packed
performances
that
left
everyone
spellbound
each
time
on
the
big
screen.
He
has
managed
to
carve
a
niche
for
himself
in
Bollywood
inspite
of
no
filmy
connection.
Recently
in
an
interview
with
India
Today,
when
asked
about
his
opinion
on
the
ongoing
Kangana
Ranaut-
Karan
Johar
nepotism
controversy,
Manoj
said,
"I
would
like
to
thank
Kangana
(Ranaut)
for
bringing
it
out
into
the
open.
But
the
kind
of
films
and
roles
I
do,
were
never
in
competition
with
any
star
kid.
Their
aspirations
are
completely
different.
In
fact,
when
I
started
doing
these
roles
and
getting
recognition,
few
of
these
stars
started
doing
these
content-driven
films.
I'm
very
happy
to
say
that
they
never
impacted
me,
rather
my
films
have
impacted
them.
I
admire
Kangana
as
an
actor,
and
as
someone
who
knows
her
mind.
How
true
or
false
the
existence
of
nepotism
is,
is
for
the
people
who
indulge
in
it
to
answer."
Further,
the
actor
even
spoke
about
the
politics
that
goes
behind
the
glittey
award
functions.
He
quipped,
"Award
shows
in
India
really
need
to
buck
up
because
now,
people
want
these
shows
to
be
credible
and
fair.
They
should
make
the
nominations
and
jury
system
much
more
transparent
to
the
public.
They
should
also
take
away
the
singing
and
dancing,
and
make
it
purely
an
award
show.
He
added,
"If
you
make
it
an
event,
you
have
to
sell
the
satellite
rights.
To
sell
the
satellite
rights,
the
channel
will
need
some
commercial
faces
to
get
the
endorsements.
And
to
get
those
faces,
either
you
get
them
as
guests
or
you
have
them
dancing
or
getting
awards."
