Priyanka Chopra is considered a global icon today but that hasn't stopped her from spreading the medium of regional cinema throughout the country. After a Bhojpuri movie Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi and a Marathi film Ventilator, her third venture is a Punjabi film titled Sarvann, which is slated to hit the big screens next week and has a special shabad sung by her late father, Dr. Ashok Chopra.

Now as per a Mumbai Mirror report, Priyanka is all set to roll out her next venture. During her India visit last week, she has shared with the tabloid, "I will be announcing five, small-budget, content-driven, path-breaking films in other languages this year. I want to tell as many stories as possible using local talent speaking in regional tongues."

If the latest buzz is to be believed, then her latest regional project is a Sikkimese-Nepalese film titled Paua which translates to Guest. Reportedly, the film will re-volve around two young children who get separated from their parents at the time of an unrest at the Indian border. PeeCee and her mother Madhu Chopra are roping in local talent from Nepal and Sikkim.

Meanwhile, PC is all set to attend the 74th Golden Globe Awards on January 8 in Los Angeles where she is one of the presenters at the show, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Drew Barrymore, Matt Damon, Nicole Kidman and Mandy Moore.
