Priyanka Chopra’s Mother Says PeeCee Was Never Afraid Of Taking Risks!

Priyanka Chopra has always been a risk taker and she's doesn't shy away from taking the road which is less travelled. She's been there and done that in the fashion world, beauty pageants and also in the film industry. PeeCee has made her mark everywhere and all this fame and recognition came with a lot of hard work and with taking timely risks which changed her fortunes. Her mother Madhu opened up about her daughter's risk taking spirit and said, "She has always taken her decisions fully aware of the consequences of those decisions."

"Whenever she felt that she was lacking in a particular area, she would make up with her hard work. She doesn't do anything unethical to succeed, she believes in working on her flaws to qualify and ensure that she is the best. Apart from that she does not hesitate in taking the unconventional route to success. She is ready for challenges all the time. In fact, the song, Har Fikr Ko Dhuen Mein Udaata Chala Gaya, from the Dev Anand-starrer, Hum Dono, aptly applies to her."

When asked about Priyanka's role in Baywatch, Madhu confirmed that the character was originally written for an anti-hero, "She found the character intriguing. She was also aware of the importance and weight the character carried in the script and she knew that she wanted to do it. I don't think anyone else could have done justice to the role in Baywatch. The best part about Priyanka is that she has never shied away from taking risks. Otherwise, she would never have attempted the negative role in Aitraaz so early in her career."
