WAIT, WHAT! Shahrukh Khan To Step Into Akshay Kumar's Shoes For Jolly LLB 3?
If all goes well then we might get to see SRK playing a lawyer in Jolly LLB 3 as director Subhash Kapoor is quite keen on casting him in the film.
At the success press conference of Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2, the makers had announced that Jolly LLB 3 is in the pipeline. Well, now it looks like they are planning to make the franchise more bigger. If the grapevine is to be believed then director Subhash Kapoor is keen on casting Shahrukh Khan in Jolly LLB 3.
A source close to the film was quoted saying to DNA, "Right now the script is not ready but the makers definitely want to take the successful franchise forward and make a third installment. Subhash wants to take a small break before he starts scripting that. They are happy with how the sequel has performed in the box office and are keen to cast Shah Rukh Khan for Jolly LLB 3. The director even approached SRK for Jolly LLB role which was finally done by Arshad Warsi. He has many concepts for Jolly LLB series and wants SRK to cast in at least one. But he will only finalise it after the team returns from break."
Will SRK agree to play a lawyer for the first time on the big screen? Guess we will have to wait and watch. The superstar already has his platter full with films including Imtiaz Ali's tentatively titled 'The Ring' and Aanand L Rai's next.
Talking about Khiladi Kumar, the actor too has a packed schedule with films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, 2.0, Padman and Salman Khan-Karan Johar's next production. It would be quite interesting to see how he reacts if SRK indeed ends up replacing him in the flick!
