Finally! Shraddha Kapoor Breaks Her Silence On Her Live-In Relationship With Farhan Akhtar

Shraddha Kapoor was in the news recently for all the wrong reasons! A few days ago there were reports that she had moved in with rumoured boyfriend Farhan Akhtar and her father Shakti Kapoor and aunt Padmini Kolhapure are very unhappy with her decision (more about it later.)

We Are Humans Too
Shraddha Kapoor told Bombay Times, "I got a message from someone telling me about this article, and initially, I was amused. While it doesn't make a difference to me because I know it's not true, it's sad that these false stories go so far that people forget we are human, too.''
Taking It Too Far
''Of course, we are actors and there will be people who would probably want to read something gossipy about us, but when it involves my father, my aunt and my costar, it's taking it too far.''
I Was Linked With Aditya Too
"Well, I was even linked with Aditya for a while! Like I say, actors are linked all the time. But when family members are dragged into it, it's taking it to another extreme."
Yes, I Am Living In
"Yes, I am living in... with my parents! I was born and brought up in this house. It's a joke within the family that I will bring my husband home (laughs). It's because I'm so happy living with my family."
I Have A House Of My Own
''I have a house of my own where I have my meetings and keep my extra stuff. I have no intention of moving out of my parents' home and moving into my own apartment, let alone someone else's! About live-in relationships in general, I believe in live and let live. If it suits somebody and someone is happy, then it's totally fine -to each his own."
How These Rumours Started
Not so long ago, a web portal claimed that Shakti Kapoor dragged Shraddha Kapoor out of Farhan Akhtar's house as he was not happy with their affair. Those who don't know Farhan is not yet divorced and has two children.
What Shakti Has To Say...
Shakti Kapoor told Mid Day, "You have my photograph which I had WhatsApped on Christmas and the report said I was in Mumbai. The entire report is baseless. I have told my daughter not to get harrowed by such malicious stories."
Shraddha Respects Farhan A Lot
"I don't think she is in relationship with Farhan. Shraddha comes and tells me everything and has never told me anything about this. She respects Farhan a lot. I respect Farhan as an actor, Javed Saab and Shabana Azmi. I know they must be equally disturbed by this report."
In the same interview, Shakti Kapoor said, "Shraddha has three houses and one of which has been gifted by me. She is a home bird; I don't really remember Shraddha sleeping out even if it is late night or early morning. She always comes back home. She is not comfortable sleeping in other people's home."

"I told Shraddha when you acted with Aditya Roy Kapur your name was linked with him, then it was Shahid, then Farhan after you worked with him in Rock On 2 and now you are working with Aditya again we will get to see more media reports about the same and may be with Arjun Kapoor after Half Girlfriend," he added.
