Rumoured Lovebirds Sidharth Malhotra & Alia Bhatt To Reunite For Shakun Batra's Next?

Shakun Batra's last film 'Kapoor & Sons' won big at the Filmfare Awards this year. Now, if reports are to be believed then the filmmaker has already began work on his next film and buzz is that he is planning to rope in Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt who were a part of his last flick too.

Reportedly, the director is currently busy with the pre-production of the romantic and slice-of-life film. A Mid-day report quoted a unit hand as saying, "Alia and Sid met Shakun and heard the script right after they returned from their Amsterdam trip. They liked the concept and seemed excited to work with Shakun again. Though they haven't signed on the dotted line yet, they have given their nod verbally."

The source further added, "It's a breezy film (produced by Karan Johar) which will not require more than 40 days of shoot. Shakun will do the recce next week and zero in on the locations."

Meanwhile, Alia recently wrapped up Varun Dhawan starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania and will soon begin work on Ranbir Kapoor's superhero flick Dragon. Sidharth on the other hand, will be seen in Reload opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and has Ittefaq remake with Sonakshi Sinha.

Also, there are reports of Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt teaming up for Aashiqui 3.
