It
seems
like
Bollywood
remakes
are
back
in
fashion.
The
latest
one
being
Sidharth
Malhotra-
Sonakshi
Sinha
starrer
Ittefaq
which
hit
the
shooting
floors
a
couple
of
days
back.
Recently,
while
talking
to
the
leading
daily
DNA,
Sidharth
Malhotra
revealed
about
this
particular
remake
of
Amitabh
Bachchan
starrer
that
he
wishes
to
be
a
part
of.
The
actor
was
quoted
as
saying,
"
I
would
love
to
star
in
a
modern-day
Hum.
That
is
an
absolute
favourite
of
mine
from
the
1990s."
He
further
added
that
he
is
a
big
fan
of
Sr
Bachchan
and
the
film
"had
the
right
blend
of
action,
romance
and
emotions."
He
was
quoted
as
saying,
"Plus,
I
would
also
get
to
dance
on
Jumma
Chumma,
which
would
be
a
dream
come
true."
Meanwhile
talking
about
Ittefaq,
there
are
strong
whispers
that
the
film
will
have
songs
unlike
the
original
film
and
the
makers
are
planning
for
an
alternative
ending
to
keep
the
suspense
factor
alive
amongst
the
audience.
Guess
only
time
will
reveal
if
these
are
mere
speculations
or
there
is
any
grain
of
truth
in
it.
Apart
from
Ittefaq,
Sidharth
Malhotra
will
also
be
seen
in
Reload
opposite
Jacqueline
Fernandez.
The
film
is
slated
for
an
August
release.
