Taapsee Pannu Takes A Dig At Kangana Ranaut? Says You Can’t Blame Nepotism For Not Getting Work!

Kangana Ranaut was in the news for attacking Karan Johar and accusing him of nepotism in the film industry. Quite a few celebs spoke out against Kangana for her statements and some supported it. The latest to voice her opinion is Taapsee Pannu and it looks like she's taking a sly dig at Kangana for blaming nepotism for not getting work. She said,

"I am a proud outsider, nobody forced me to come into the industry. I was aware of the nepotism that exists in the industry and even then, I decided to be a part of it. I don't like playing the victim card. You might lose out on some projects because of nepotism, but something else will come your way. You can't keep blaming nepotism for not getting work."

She further commented, "I wasn't even passionate about acting and probably, that worked in my favour because I didn't see films as the be all and end all of my life. You will get your fair share of work despite having no connections in the industry and I am the living example of that. It is a game and nepotism is part of it. Play your outsider card if you have to."

Taapsee Pannu will next be seen in the film Naam Shabana and it also stars Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher. The film will see Taapsee in an intense avatar, and the film is full of action-packed sequences and stunts. The actress has also learnt martial arts for the movie which is all set for a release on March 31, 2017.
