these

It's
time
to
see
yet
another
engrossing
story
about
unsung
heroes
whose
ultimate
sacrifice
we
never
knew
about.
This
morning,
the
makers
of
The
Ghazi
Attack
released
the
first
trailer
of
the
film
and
we
are
totally
digging
into
it.
The
film
which
is
touted
to
be
India's
first
war-at-sea
film
stars
Rana
Daggubati
and
Taapsee
Pannu.
The
Ghazi
Attack
is
an
epic
underwater
tale
of
the
immense
courage
and
undying
patriotism
of
the
men
aboard
the
Indian
submarine
S-21
who
destroyed
the
Pakistani
submarine
PNS
Ghazi
when
it
ventured
into
Indian
waters
with
the
ambition
of
destroying
INS
Vikrant
and
conquering
the
Visakhapatnam
port
on
the
eastern
coast
of
India
in
1971.
The
plot
of
the
film
revolves
around
an
executive
naval
officer
and
his
team
who
had
remained
underwater
for
18
days.

the
trailer
here...
What
makes
the
film
even
more
interesting
is
its
stellar
cast
which
comprises
of
Kay
Kay
Menon,
Atul
Kulkarni
and
the
late
Om
Puri!
The
film
boosts
of
some
excellent
production
values
and
we
are
already
hooked
to
whatever
little
glimpse
of
the
war
scenes
that
we
got
in
the
trailer.
Rana
Daggubati
shed
weight
for
his
role
of
Arjun,
a
naval
officer
and
the
film
has
seen
never
before
seen
stunts.
The
actor
was
earlier
quoted
saying,
"For
the
first
time
in
our
cinema,
you
will
see
daring
underwater
stunts.
We
shot
for
them
for
12
days
taking
all
necessary
precautions.
While
one
part
was
shot
in
the
Olympic
pool,
large
parts
of
the
underwater
stunts
were
shot
in
the
oceans
off
the
coast
of
Vizag."
He
further
added,
"It
was
dangerous
because
we
didn't
know
what
we
would
encounter
deep
inside
the
ocean.
We
had
to
look
out
for
sudden
underwater
currents.
Sometimes
pieces
of
metal
would
suddenly
come
at
us.
The
terrain
was
unknown
so
it
was
both
thrilling
and
a
challenge
to
shoot.
To
shoot
such
scenes,
one
has
to
be
trained
specially.
Luckily
for
me,
I
am
already
a
certified
deep
sea
diver
with
a
professional
diving
license.
But
I
also
took
some
additional
training
for
this
shoot
which
was
choreographed
professionally,"
The
film
has
Taapsee
Pannu
playing
a
Bangladeshi
refugee.
Presented
by
Karan
Johar
and
directed
by
Sankalp
Reddy,
the
bilingual
flick
is
slated
to
release
on
12th
February,
2017.
