Varun Dhawan On His TV Debut: 'I Need To Be A Little Older To Take Up Television'
'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' actor Varun Dhawan reveals the reason why we won't get to see him making his small screen debut any time soon.
There is no doubt that Varun Dhawan is one of the hottest sensations in the tinsel town. With back-to-back box office successes to his credit and an immense fan-following, everyone is now eagerly waiting for the moment when the young lad would finally make his debut on the small screen.
While actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and other names from the big leagues have already hosted TV shows in the past, currently we are getting to see a lot of young guns right from Arjun Kapoor to Ranbir Kapoor sashaying into the medium of television.

Recently when Varun was asked about it by a leading daily, he quipped, "Even if it's like something in the digital space - maybe a digital show, or a web series, if a great offer comes, why not?"
Interestingly, he even revealed that he has got some offers for hosting a few dance shows and a couple of game shows in the past, but they haven't been exciting enough for him to take it up. He added, "I have been offered a couple of game and dance shows. I had been asked to host some. But it's not something I am really keen on doing."
He further said, "I will take it up at a time when I feel I can make a big difference. I also need to have that much time to give the project. But I really respect the medium. So, maybe, I will do it when I am a little freer. Right now, I don't think time permits me do so. Also, honestly, I need to be a little older before I take it up (laughs loudly)."
Well, we wonder what your contemporaries who have already ventured into this space have to say about this.
Meanwhile on the work front, Varun's upcoming films include Judwaa 2 and a movie with Shoojit Sircar.
