Vidya Balan is proud of the fact that she made a mark in Bollywood all by herself with little or no help from outsiders. Vidya gives all the credit of her success to none other than herself.
Vidya Balan, who was last seen in the film Kahaani 2, said that she feels proud about the fact that she made a mark in the Bollywood film industry all by herself with little or no support from the outsiders. She said,
"Looking
at
my
career
graph,
I
feel
nothing
short
of
gratitude.
And
I'm
glad
that
I
can
owe
all
this
success
to
myself.
It's
my
love
for
myself
that
motivated
me.
My
faith
in
myself
and
then,
my
family
and
friends
helped
me
come
this
far
in
my
career."
The Kahaani 2 star also believes that all throughout her life, she has been blessed by an external force that always guards her in everything she does. "At different points in my personal and professional life, there have been different 'maseeha' who came into my life and encouraged me to do better, and not give up despite all odds. It's this journey that has helped me discover myself."
Vidya Balan is one of the few actresses who are not on the social media and when asked if she doen't feel missed out on the online hysteria, she said, "Maybe that's the reason I don't follow too many people on social media. And, trust me, I don't feel I'm missing on anything. In a way, it's good that I don't know what's happening."
