HOLY MOLY! Vidya Balan's Badass Look In The First Poster Of Begum Jaan Is Bewitching!

Vidya Balan who is given us several memorable performances till date is back with a bang and this time, she is here in a never seen before avatar! This morning, the 'Kahaani 2' actress took to her Twitter handle to unveil the first poster of her upcoming film Begum Jaan and boy, she left us completely stunned.

The poster has Vidya sitting on chair in a commanding position but it's her vicious grey eyes that sends a chill down the spine. Check out the first look here-

Begum Jaan is the Bollywood adaptation of the National Award winning Bengali film Rajkahini and is helmed by debutant director Srijit Mukherjee who had also directed the original flick. The film revolves around the trauma faced by displaced women in a brothel during the partition of India and has Vidya essaying the role of a brothel owner.

We hear that to get into the skin of her character Vidya had taken up horse-riding and was undergoing voice training to modulate her voice for her role

The film boosts of a stellar cast consisting of Naseeruddin Shah, Ila Arun, Pallavi Sharda, Ridhima Tiwari, Mishti, Flora Saini and Rajat Kapoor and is slated to release on 14th April.
