Why Isn't Farhan Akhtar Promoting His Film The Fakir of Venice? Strange!

When a film nears its release, stars are seen all over the place promoting their film and go to any length to convince the audiences to watch the film. The surprising part is that Farhan Akhtar's 'The Fakir Of Venice' is finally complete and is nearing its release but Farhan has hardly spoken a word about the film, let alone promote it.

An insider revealed to Mid-Day, "The makers have been trying to get in touch with Farhan for a while but in vain. He may be busy with other commitments, but they are hoping to receive a reply at least." So Farhan Akhtar is busy with his shoot and has no time for promoting his movie? That's pretty surprising!

The source further added, "The Fakir of Venice got stuck when the producers changed, but the issue has been resolved and the film is ready for release. It is the director's debut project too." The shoot for The Fakir Of Venice started in 2007 and had to be Farhan's debut film but it got stalled and the actor debuted in Rock On in 2008.

After shooting bits and pieces here and there for close to a decade now, the film has thankfully been completed and will hit the theatres soon. The Fakir Of Venice also stars Annu Kapoor in a prominent role. The story revolves around two conmen, who are hired to find a poor guy from India for an art project in Venice, Italy.
