The newlyweds, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are back in Mumbai after a fairy-tale destination wedding at Lake Como in Italy, which was followed by a grand reception in Bengaluru. The lovebirds got married at a 800-year-old villa facing Lake Como in Italy in the presence of close friends and family.
Meanwhile, soon after returning back to Mumbai, Ranveer has headed back to work. The actor was recently spotted dubbing for Rohit Shetty's Simmba at a suburban studio. A lucky fan got a chance to click a selfie with him and Ranveer as usual, was all game for it. He looked handsome in a white T-Shirt and jeans with an orange zipper jacket. Speaking about Simmba, the film is inspired by Junior NTR's Telugu hit flick, Temper. Director Rohit Shetty was earlier quoted as saying, "We have bought the rights of Temper but our film is not exactly a remake. We wanted to take four-five scenes from Temper but we thought it's better to buy the rights. It's what we did with Singham. Our film was different from the original Singham except a few scenes. Here also, we have written our own film taking the exact idea."
Sharing his excitement about working with Rohit Shetty for the first time, Ranveer was earlier quoted by Pinkvilla, "I am so lucky to be working with Rohit Shetty, he is the king of masala films. People are looking forward to us working together and I am happy to see that kind of excitement level. These are the types of films I have grown up watching. Masala films are in my blood and I'm very excited to be working in Simmba. Better who than Rohit Shetty, the king of that genre, so I m definitely looking forward."
Simmba has Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan playing the role of Ranveer's love interest. The film's trailer is all set to unveiled on 3rd December.
