Anurag Basu Reacts To Reports About Arjun Kapoor & Kareena Kapoor Khan In 'Life In A Metro' Sequel!
Anurag has finally reacted to these reports suggesting that he's casting rjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in Life In A Metro sequel.
Anurag Basu's Life In A Metro which released in 2007 received critical acclaim and also won the audience's hearts. Eleven years later, the tinsel town is abuzz with reports that the filmmaker is planning a sequel to it. Buzz is that Anurag is considering to cast Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the film. The duo have earlier worked together on R.Balki's Ki & Ka.
This morning, a leading daily reported that Anurag has also offered the film to Rajkummar Rao after Arjun couldn't sign it because of date issues. Now, Anurag Basu has finally reacted to these casting reports and here's what he has to say-

The casting rumors began when a source told a leading daily, "Kareena Kapoor Khan will reportedly feature in one of the stories and Arjun Kapoor will also be a part of one of the plots. Their tracks are not connected is what we hear."
Not Arjun But Rajkummar To Star In The Film?
Speaking about the latest development, a source told DNA that impressed with Rajkummar Rao's repertoire, Anurag Basu has offered him the film. However, the 'Stree' actor is yet to give his nod.
The Film Has Been Offered To Other Actors As Well
Not just Rajkummar, the leading daily further states that the makers have even approached Sidharth Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the film.
Will Kareena Give Her Nod?
After the success of her last realease 'Veere Di Wedding', Kareena Kapoor Khan is back on every director's working list. The actress recently signed Akshay Kumar's Good News and Karan Johar's Takht.

Finally reacting to these casting rumours frequently popping up, the 'Jagga Jasoos' director tweeted, "Casting of an ensemble cast film can only be locked after securing combination dates of all the actors.Bohut mushkil kaam hai,sab ke calendars ek saal ke liye full hain.Aur mein ghode pe sawar hun. Will keep you posted. Final cast will be announced soon."
Well, it looks like we will have to wait for sometime for the formal announcement to happen!
