Bharat First Look: Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif Are Standing At Wagah Border & Making Us Curious!
Ever since Salman Khan's Bharat has been announced, there has been a lot of curiosity around the film, considering it marks the reunion of the blockbuster trio- Salman, Katrina Kaif & Ali Abbas Zafar.
Ever
since
Salman
Khan's
Bharat
has
been
announced,
there
has
been
a
lot
of
curiosity
around
the
film,
considering
it
marks
the
reunion
of
the
blockbuster
trio-
Salman,
Katrina
Kaif
and
director
Ali
Abbas
Zafar.
The
film
is
touted
to
be
an
official
adaptation
of
Korean
flick,
'An
Ode
To
My
Father'.
Salman
and
Katrina
have
already
shot
in
Mumbai,
Malta,
and
Abu
Dhabi
and
are
currently
filming
in
Chandigarh.
The
actors
have
been
constantly
updating
their
fans
with
pictures
and
videos
from
the
sets
and
piquing
their
interests.
This
morning,
Salman
took
to
his
Instagram
page
to
share
a
new
still
from
the
film.
The
picture
has
the
superstar
and
Katrina
Kaif
standing
at
the
Wagah
border
with
their
backs
towards
the
camera.
The
actor
captioned
the
picture
as,
"@bharat_thefilm
@aliabbaszafar
@katrinakaif
@dishapatani
@whosunilgrover
@atulreellife."
Interestingly,
the
Wagah
border
has
been
recreated
in
Ludhiana.
An
Indian
Express
report
quoted
a
source
as
saying,
"There
were
certain
scenes
in
which
actors
have
to
cross
border
and
reach
Pakistan
side.
It
was
not
possible
to
shoot
them
at
original
location.
Also,
it
wasn't
practical
to
shoot
at
Wagah
Border
in
Amritsar
as
it
is
normally
not
allowed
by
BSF
due
to
security
reasons.
It
was
highly
unlikely
that
BSF
might
have
permitted."
Meanwhile,
reports
suggest
that
Katrina
Kaif's
role
in
the
film
is
meatier
now.
A
source
was
quoted
as
saying,
"With
film's
shooting
still
going
on,
Ali
has
now
increased
the
graph
of
Kat's
character.
There's
more
dialogue,
action,
and
drama
added
to
her
role
which
will
be
very
much
liked
by
the
audiences.
In
Bharat,
Katrina
will
have
a
way
bigger
role
than
any
of
her
films."
Bharat
boosts
of
an
ensemble
cast
which
includes
names
like
Salman
Khan,
Katrina
Kaif,
Jackie
Shroff,
Disha
Patani,
Tabu
and
Sunil
Grover.
The
film
is
slated
to
hit
the
marquee
on
Eid
2019.
