Emraan Hashmi is back and how! The actor will be next seen in 'Cheat India' which highlights the corruption and malpractices in Indian education system. The first teaser of the film and it looks quite intriguing.
Emraan shared the teaser of the film on his Twitter with a caption that read, "Students, parents, educationists, politicos, media and countrymen..the teaser of "Cheat India" http://bit.ly/CheatIndia-Teaser ... #CheatIndia #CheatIndiaTeaser."

Earlier this week saw the release of the "Cheat India" poster, which had Emraan Hashmi's face stitched together by an assortment of exam admission cards and rupee notes. The intriguing creative led to endless speculation about his character in the film.
Emraan was earlier quoted as saying, "The script and title of Cheat India are supremely powerful. This is among the most engaging and riveting stories I've read in a while and I am thrilled to be essaying what I believe will be a landmark role in my film-ography."
The actor had stated in an interview that the film was a first-of-its-kind for him, besides being topical and relevant for students and parents. Its controversial tagline, "Nakal Mein Hi Akal Hai", clearly points towards the rampant malpractices in the country's financially lucrative education sector.
Director Soumik Sen had said, "This film is for every Indian student who is under pressure to excel in a competitive environment. Today's youth will hugely relate to Cheat India."
Cheat India marks the debut of Shreya Dhanwanthary and speaking about casting her in the film, the producers had revealed, "We auditioned as many as 50 girls before zeroing down on Shreya. She is a complete natural, and confident and effortless in front of the camera. We were also looking for someone with inherent simplicity and charm, and she ticked all the boxes on our wish-list." The film features more than forty theatre actors cast after extensive auditioning.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Tanuj Garg and Atul Kasbekar's Ellipsis Entertainment, and Emraan Hashmi Films, "Cheat India" is due for a world release on January 25, 2019. The film will lock horns at the box office with Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' and Hrithik Roshan's 'Super 30'.
